Have you ever heard the quote, “Believe you can, and you’re halfway there?” I sat in the middle of that pendulum for about 10 years, where I was trying believe I could run 5K’s or be the fastest girl on the softball team. Trust me, it took a long time until I could get myself over that hump.
One day I woke up and felt like I needed something more. You know what I mean? I got to the point where I felt like something was missing, that raw passion for something, anything.
I started running, slowly, hesitantly, but surely. I was one of those girls telling myself, “I wish I could” instead of “I know I can.” All it took was Beyonce’s new album and I was a new person. I guess sometimes it’s that easy.
I ran my first marathon in 2012, followed by another in 2013, a few half marathons in between, and to date, I’ve also done three triathlons and one duathlon. Who am I?!
I am very driven to help people realize their potential. No matter your fitness level, I challenge my clients to live a healthier lifestyle, and I work with each and every individual to diminish personal barriers in order to realize individual strength and power.
